# Illinois SB 2869 (94th) — CONTROLLED SUB-FORFEITURE
|
||
|
||
Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act concerning forfeited conveyances. Provides that when any forfeited conveyance, including an aircraft, vehicle, or vessel is returned to the seizing agency or prosecutor, the conveyance must be used for a minimum of one year in the enforcement of laws relating to cannabis or controlled substances. Provides that after one year, the conveyance may be used for official use in the enforcement of any law.
