# Illinois SB 1722 (96th) — ELEVATORS - SPECIAL PURPOSE
Amends the Elevator Safety and Regulation Act. Provides that special purpose personnel elevators within the scope of section 17.1 of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Code (ASME A17.1) and used only by authorized personnel are exempt from regulation under the Act. Effective immediately.
