# Illinois HB 3253 (97th) — PEN CD-IMRF-SLEP/CTY OFFICIALS
Amends the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Article of the Illinois Pension Code. Prohibits a sheriff's law enforcement employee who begins service in that capacity after the effective date of the amendatory Act from being able to convert up to 10 years of service in any other capacity into service as a sheriff's law enforcement employee.
