# Illinois SB 1351 (97th) — DISABLED REHAB ACT-DHS-POWERS

||
|
||
Amends the Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Act. Removes persons with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders from the list of persons receiving services under the Act. Changes the type of preventive services the Department may establish to prevent the unnecessary institutionalization of persons in need of long term care who meet the criteria for blindness or disability as defined under the Social Security Act.
