# Illinois SB 2162 (97th) — VEH CD-SHERIFF PLTS:NO FEE

||
|
||
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that beginning with the 2012 registration year, county-owned vehicles operated by or for any county sheriff and designated deputy sheriffs shall be exempt from fees related to the transfer of registration plates from one vehicle to another.
