# 10 U.S.C. § 8218 - Aviation designations: naval flight officer
|

|
||
Any officer of the naval service may be designated a naval flight officer if he has successfully completed the course prescribed for naval flight officers.
|

L. 91–198 substituted “naval flight officer” for “naval aviation observer” and “naval flight officers” for “naval aviation observers,” and struck out requirement that such officer have been in the air at least 100 hours.
