now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 ->
59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun,
verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make
legal-us-code default now covers every title.

# 16 U.S.C. § 1439 - Regulations
## Text
The Secretary may issue such regulations as may be necessary to carry out this chapter.

Amendments2000—Pub. L. 106513 amended section catchline and text generally. Prior to amendment, text read as follows: “If any provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the validity of the remainder of this Act and of the application of such provision to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby.”
