Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code
now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 ->
59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun,
verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make
legal-us-code default now covers every title.

# 20 U.S.C. § 1161n1 - Reservations
## Text
(a) Reservations Of the amount appropriated to carry out this part in each fiscal year—
(1) not less than 50 percent shall be available for awarding grants to institutions of higher education and consortia of such institutions described in section 1161n2(a)(1)(A) of this title for cooperative education under section 1161n2 of this title;
(2) not less than 25 percent shall be available for awarding grants to institutions of higher education described in section 1161n2(a)(1)(B) of this title for cooperative education under section 1161n2 of this title;
(3) not to exceed 11 percent shall be available for demonstration projects under paragraph (1) of section 1161n3(a) of this title;
(4) not to exceed 11 percent shall be available for training and resource centers under paragraph (2) of section 1161n3(a) of this title; and
(5) not to exceed 3 percent shall be available for research under paragraph (3) of section 1161n3(a) of this title.
(b) Availability of appropriations Amounts appropriated under this part shall not be used for the payment of compensation of students for employment by employers participating in a program under this part.
