Ingested titles 12–51 and 54 from OLRC USLM XML @119-100 (the whole Code now, uniform edition; Title 53 is reserved/empty). LegalText 11,221 -> 59,740; repo total 105,704 records. Deterministic (byte-identical rerun, verified on Title 42's 8,356 sections); make check green. make legal-us-code default now covers every title. # 36 U.S.C. § 128 - National Maritime Day
|
||

||
## Text
|
||
|
||
(a) Designation.— May 22 is National Maritime Day.
|
||
|
||
(b) Proclamation.— The President is requested to issue each year a proclamation calling on—
|
||
|
||
(1) the people of the United States to observe National Maritime Day by displaying the flag of the United States at their homes or other suitable places; and
|
||
|
||
(2) United States Government officials to display the flag on all Government buildings on National Maritime Day.
