# California SB 854 (20172018) — Public resources.
(1) Existing law establishes the Department of Fish and Wildlife and vests the department with the jurisdiction over the conservation, protection, and management of fish, wildlife, native plants, and habitats necessary for biologically sustainable populations of those species.
