# California SB 690 (20192020) — Coastal resources: Tijuana River Valley: funding prioritization.
Existing law establishes in the Natural Resources Agency the State Coastal Conservancy. Existing law authorizes the conservancy to apply for and accept federal grants and receive gifts, donations, subventions, rents, royalties, and other financial support from public and private sources. Existing law authorizes the conservancy to fund and undertake plans and feasibility studies, and award grants to public agencies and nonprofit organizations, as provided. Existing law provides that certain appropriated moneys available to the County of San Diego for the development, improvement, rehabilitation, protection, and restoration of natural and park lands in the Tijuana River Valley be available to the county to update or conduct certain studies relating to the Tijuana River Valley.
