Existing law establishes the California Law Revision Commission. Existing law authorizes the commission to recommend changes in the law as it deems necessary to modify or eliminate antiquated and inequitable rules of law and bring the law into harmony with modern conditions. Existing law requires the commission to file a report at each regular session of the Legislature containing a calendar of topics selected by the commission for study, which is subject to approval by concurrent resolution of the Legislature.
