# California AB 652 (20252026) — San Diego County Air Pollution Control District: governing board: alternate members.

Existing law provides for the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District to have a governing board of 11 members, including 2 members representing the board of supervisors of the County of San Diego, the mayor or a city council member of the City of San Diego, a city council member from each of the 5 supervisorial districts of the county, and 3 public members who are appointed by the other members representing those local governments. Existing law requires the 5 city council members to be selected by city selection committees representing the cities of that supervisorial district. Existing law provides for the members of the governing board to receive compensation while attending meetings of the district governing board or while on official business of the district and to receive the actual and necessary expenses incurred in performing the member's official duties, as specified.
