# Illinois HB 5175 (102nd) — HIGHER ED-VET GRANT PROGRAM

Amends the Higher Education Student Assistance Act. Changes definition of qualified applicant. Provides that a qualifying condition requires that the person applying must have received an honorable discharge after leaving federal active duty service (instead of received an honorable discharge after leaving each period of federal active duty service).
