Provides that a person who has changed his or her residence address must notify the Secretary of State of the change in writing within 10 days after the change before he or she may obtain a corrected identification card. Provides that it is a violation of the Acts to possess, use, or allow to be used any materials, hardware, or software specifically designed for or primarily used in the manufacture, assembly, issuance, or authentication of an official Illinois Identification Card, Illinois Disabled Person Identification Card, driver's license, or permit issued by the Secretary of State. Sets forth restrictions on the release of personal information by the Secretary of State. Makes other changes. Effective January 1, 2005."

# Illinois HB 4269 (93rd) — SECY OF STATE-I.D. & LICENSE

||

||
Amends the Illinois Identification Card Act and the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that no identification card, Disabled Person Identification Card, or driver's license shall be issued to any person who holds a valid foreign state identification card, license, or permit unless the person first surrenders to the Secretary of State the valid foreign state identification card, license, or permit.
