# Illinois SB 2480 (93rd) — HWY CD-CONSTRUCT CONTRACTS
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Repeals a provision providing that the highway commissioner in each road district may contract for the construction or repair of roads and bridges lying wholly within the limits of the commissioner's district and that, if the cost of the contract or expenditure is more than $5,000, the highway commissioner may not make any payment without the approval of the county superintendent of highways or the highway board of auditors.
