# Illinois HB 4646 (95th) — LOCAL GOV-WIND FARMS
Amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that a municipality or a county may own and operate a wind generation turbine farm, either individually or jointly, that directly or indirectly reduces the energy or other operating costs of the municipality or county. Effective immediately.
