# Illinois HB 3677 (96th) — VEH CD-RESIST-OBSTRUCT-LICENSE

||

Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that upon a first conviction of resisting or obstructing a peace officer under the Criminal Code of 1961 involving the operation of a motor vehicle, the Secretary of State must suspend the convicted person's driver's license for a period not exceeding 6 months, and upon a second or subsequent conviction of the same offense, the person's driver's license must be suspended for one year.
