# Illinois HB 4462 (99th) — EPINEPHRINE AUTO-INJECTORS

Amends the School Code. In provisions concerning the self-administration and self-carry of asthma medication and epinephrine auto-injectors and the administration of undesignated epinephrine auto-injectors or an opioid antagonist, provides that the term "trained personnel" includes a school bus driver employed by an independent contractor and that, with respect to asthma medication and epinephrine auto-injectors, before and after normal school activities includes while being transported on a school bus.
