# Illinois HB 5594 (99th) — DRUG COURT-OPIOID ABUSE

||

||
Amends the Drug Court Treatment Act. Provides that if the defendant needs treatment for opioid abuse or dependence, the court shall require that the defendant participate in and receive medically prescribed drug treatments under the care of a physician licensed in this State to practice medicine in all of its branches.
