# Virginia HB 1559 (2017) — Special identification cards; fee for issuance of duplicate or reissuance, expiration of cards.

Increases from $5 per renewal to $2 per year, with a $10 minimum fee, the fee for an original, duplicate, reissue, or renewal special identification card and increases the maximum validity period from seven to eight years.
